Harra Esbao’o- Tita’s famous Pomegranate Pita Dish Recipe 


  • Lentil
  • Angel Hair Noodles
  • Pomegranate Molasses
  • Garlic
  • Coriander
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • Pita Bread
  • Lemon
  • Onion
  • Cornflower
  • Salt


  1. Cut the pita bread into small pieces and air fry until they are crispy. You can also press the pita bread in a panini press and break the bread apart when crispy. 
  2. Boil lentils until crispy. Drain water when done. 
  3. Mix lentils with angel hair noodles, pomegranate molasses, garlic cloves, olive oil, coriander, red pepper flakes, squeezed lemon juice and a tablespoon of sugar. 
  4. Mix on high heat until it becomes a jelly-like consistency. 
  5. Turn the stove off and pour ¼ a cup of olive oil. 
  6. Cut 3 sliced red onions into strips, fry them and mix with corn flour. 
  7. Serve the lentil mixture, crispy onions, and crispy pita chips on a deep glass dish and enjoy.
