Jordan Nassar

Jordan Nassar is a Palestinian American visual artist. 

He was born on January 9, 1985, in New York City, New York, and is of Palestinian descent. Jordan has created hand-crafted, embroidered textile pieces that have been displayed all over the world, including features in exhibits in New York, Los Angeles, London, Germany, Israel, and Dubai. Notably, he was featured in the Making Knowing: Craft in Art group exhibition. 

Before his rise to fame, Jordan received his Bachelor’s of Arts Degree from Middlebury College.

Throughout his career, Jordan has relied on traditional Palestinian hand embroidery in his work to examine issues of identity and culture, and he was named the 2022 United States Artist Fellow.
